We have created a model for community-based homes that provide a comfortable and supportive environment for individuals and their families during the final days or weeks of life. Our vision is to create a warm and welcoming space that feels like home, with:
- A cozy living room and eating area for family gatherings
- A fully equipped kitchen for shared meals
- A serene outdoor area and back porch for quiet reflection and prayer
- Three private rooms with space for loved ones to stay
These types of homes are often referred to as “Comfort Care Homes,” “Homes for the Dying,” or “Social Model Hospice Homes.” Unlike traditional hospice care, which doesn’t cover housing or 24/7 support, our community-based approach fills this critical gap.
